Transcend Awarded Courseware Project at DIGITAL

December 2, 1997 - Toronto - Transcend Communications Corp. was awarded a contract by PDR Automated Systems and Publications of Acton Massachusetts to develop an electronic messaging workshop for Digital Equipment Corporation.

The workshop, entitled "Moving to Microsoft Exchange", will be used internally by DIGITAL's Network Systems Integration Services group to enhance the skills of its electronic messaging consultants and solution architects.  The project will require the services of DIGITAL's solution architects in Valbonne, France and PDR's document production team in Acton, Massachusetts. "The team will work together over the Internet", says Transcend's President Robert Charuk.   "Materials developed in France will be storyboarded in Toronto, edited in Acton, and distributed worldwide. The project team will never meet face to face."

The project is expected to be completed by the end of January.
