Transcend to Redesign Litton Systems Canada Network

January 22, 1998 - Toronto - Transcend Communications Corp. today was awarded a contract to redesign Litton Systems Canada's local-area network at its Mississauga Ontario headquarters.  In partnership with Dyna Lync 2000 of Toronto, the network redesign was part of a larger information technology management project.

Litton currently has over 1000 desktop systems in seven buildings linked by an FDDI local-area network.  Transcend will be conducting a full network audit and making strategic recommendations that will eliminate traffic bottlenecks, improve network management capabilities, and deliver 100Mb/S to the desktop.
